Chief Operating and Scientific Officer, Chenot Group
Dr. Gaitanos is an expert in energy metabolism and recovery; he has a vast experience in the field of elite sports performance (NBA & Olympic athletes) and more than 35 years of experience in the promotion of optimum health.
With medical and technological advances, people are living longer than ever before. It is George’s belief that old age should not signify functional decline. Through his development of award-winning programmes delivered at Chenot health wellness retreats worldwide, George helps people achieve and maintain optimal health, and lead fully active and fulfilling lives at any age.
George received his MSc and PhD at Loughborough University (U.K.) and, carried out substantial post-doctorate research at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. His research work has been published in numerous medical journals. Academically, he is a certified exercise physiologist, clinical physiotherapist, and acupuncturist. George is a member of the board and Chairman of the Certification Committee for the European Society of Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Craig began her studies at the University of Sydney, where she completed a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics, with Honours in Biochemistry and awarded the University medal for academic excellence. During these rigorous studies, Dr. Craig developed an interest in the effects of inflammation and environmental factors on our genes and the genetic legacy we transmit to the next generation. She graduated summa cum laude with a PhD in molecular oncology from the University of Zurich, where she also patented two targeted cancer therapies.
At the Novartis Institute of Biomedical Research, Dr. Craig was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship to continue her research in epigenetics and became interested in how nutrition, among other lifestyle factors, impacts our health and longevity. She studied Nutrition Science at the School of Medicine at Stanford University to sharpen her knowledge further and gain a more holistic understanding of the interplay between nutrition, aging, and overall health.
With over 10 years of experience in the field of collagen, Dr. Craig founded Formetta in order to share the superior collagen formula she developed backed by extensive research and expertise.
Global Chief Medical Officer, Swiss Re
Dr John Schoonbee is a medical doctor who has been working in the insurance field for over 20 years. He is involved in many aspects of life insurance, including product development, risk and claims assessment.John became Swiss Re’s Global Chief Medical Officer in 2017 in addition to focusing on underwriting R&D and key global health topics. He recently initiated a collaboration between Swiss Re and The BMJ (British Medical Journal) to host a seminal event on reassessing Nutritional Science due to the clear link between diet and the catastrophic effect on non-communicable diseases.He was instrumental in creating the new granular cardiometabolic calculator in Swiss Re’s LifeGuide, adding lifestyle factors, in addition to guidance for diabetes remission.
Besides his expertise in global health topics, he has a deep understanding of healthy ageing, prevention, and will explain how important insulin resistance is, and how to improve that.
